Haiti Fund Raising
On Friday 22nd January students and staff donated money to attend college in their own clothes to raise money for the relief effort following the Haiti earthquake. This non-uniform day followed a week in which students had been learning about the effects of the earthquake and developing an understanding of what the money donated would buy. Pendle Business Awards 2010
On the 11th January 2010 two teams of 4 Year 8 students were chosen to visit Rock FM in Preston to make a 40 second radio commercial promoting the Pendle Business Awards 2010.

Each team wrote their own commercial before choosing sound effects and recording the voiceovers. By the end of the day each team had produced an excellent commercial that they could be very proud of. More...

Royal Visit
On Wednesday 11th November Pendle Vale Campus was officially opened by HRH the Duke of Kent KG. This was a great honour, particularly as we had a member of the Royal Family visiting us on Armistice Day.

Prize Evening
On Thursday 19th November Pendle Vale College held its annual Prize Evening - it was a night for recognising and celebrating student achievement and talent across the campus and all curriculum areas. The school would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all those who attended and made the night such a great success and offer congratulations to the many students whose achievements were celebrated.
