Food in College

Please note:   College Lunches - Increase in Tariff
Due to the increase in food prices nationally, the cost of a meal deal and main meal only are increasing from 4 November 2013.  Meal deals (main meal and drink or biscuit) will increase from £2.15 to £2.20 and a main meal only will increase from £1.90 to £1.95.  The Free School Meal allowance has also been increased to £2.20 to enable those students entitled to a free meal to continue to have a healthy meal at lunchtime.

Currently, Lancashire County Catering Services are the provider for breakfast, break and lunch provision at Pendle Vale. The food provided is sourced locally and includes Halal provision. Breakfast is served from 8.15am each morning and students can choose items such as toast, bacon sandwiches and crumpets. Morning break is served in the main dining area and snack items can be purchased from here. At lunchtime, all meals served meet the nutritional standards as prescribed by the Government giving a wide range of options available for all students. There are also meal deal offers available e.g. sandwich and a drink or a biscuit OR a hot meal with a drink or a biscuit for £2.20. The menus are changed weekly and run over a three week period; you can view more information and/or save a copy of the menus by clicking here.
