Pendle Vale College offers students a full curriculum entitlement at Key Stages 3 and 4.
At KS3, all subjects follow the KS3 National Curriculum. The schemes of work for these subjects are available on the subject page. In Year 9, students begin GCSE learning in Geography, History, RS, Computing and Science. The overviews for routes for KS3 can be found below.
The formal options process takes place in Year 9 and new course for KS4 begin at the start of Year 10. The National Curriculum document, our Curriculum Intent and Options model are available below. At KS4, students follow a core learning pathway and have the choice from a range of option courses, which are both GCSE and Technical Award equivalent qualifications.
